Halima Namakula Advises Female Artists to Delay Motherhood

Veteran Ugandan singer Halima Namakula has advised young female artists to take their time before becoming mothers.

“Female artists who have not yet given birth should wait a little longer. They should first enjoy their life and work,” she said.

Halima, known for her timeless music and advocacy for women, encouraged young talents to focus on building their careers and personal growth before taking on the responsibilities of motherhood.

Meanwhile, the celebrated singer is preparing for her highly anticipated mega concert, which will take place on July 26, 2025, at Kampala Serena Hotel.

The event will celebrate her remarkable journey and contribution to Uganda’s music industry over the years.
