Singer Pallaso has opened up about the tough times he faced after returning to Uganda in 2014, revealing that he used to borrow food every day, which added up to nearly UGX 800,000.

Speaking in a recent interview on Galaxy TV, Pallaso shared that life was not easy when he came back to Uganda after spending almost 10 years in the United States, where he also faced time in jail.
He said he had no money or stable source of income and often relied on friends and well-wishers for daily meals.

“I borrowed food daily to a tune of close to 800K after returning to Uganda,” Pallaso confessed, showing the struggles, he went through before making it in the music industry.
Despite the challenges, Pallaso’s music journey took a positive turn shortly after his return. In 2014, he released the hit song Amaaso with the popular duo Radio & Weasel.
The song marked the beginning of a successful career that has seen him grow into one of Uganda’s top musicians.
Since then, Pallaso has continued to release hit songs and build a strong fan base both locally and internationally.
His story serves as a reminder of how perseverance and talent can lead to success, even after a difficult start.
