In the wake of social media criticism of newly crowned Miss Uganda, Leah Kalanguka, several celebrities have come out to show compassion for her.
Luga-flow rapper GNL Zamba has no kind words for the Miss Uganda critics. The rapper defended Miss Uganda calling her the true definition of an African lady and therefore all haters can go hang.
He wrote; “I love our new Miss Uganda, the quintessential African, proud that she was a farmer too. All you superficial people can go hang. The girl is beautiful, even with all the negativity, her beauty shines brighter through all the bull shit because we all know it takes a strong woman to maintain sanity and show strength in the face of adversity. The strength of our mothers and grandmothers who raised us through hardship is what she is showing all the wrenches and pretenders out there. Baboon forest supports you, your first win is being Ugandan alone… and we support!!!!! Now kill them with success n burry them with a smile, bloody on the catwalk , keep your chin up n don’t mind a hater, they are always silent in a week. You have a generation of many young girls to inspire.”
