After the disintegration of the Eagles Production band, celebrity couple Geoffrey Lutaaya and wife who got married recently have moved ahead to form their own new band.
The new band is called “De New Eagles Production Ltd” and will concentrate on recruiting new talent to take over the Ugandan music industry.
Lutaaya owns 80% shares in the new company with his wife Irene Namatovu owning 20%. She is in charge of recruiting new talent. Their Nateete based “Dance flo” bar was selected this weekend as the first venue for the talent search.
The Lutaaya’s have also bought new music instruments and band equipment to use in their new band for quality production and entertainment of their fans.
Eagle’s production members separated when former members and allies of the couple opted to start their own Golden Production band due to some misunderstandings. They later found out that the name had been registered by another person and settled for Golden Band.
