Uganda Cranes skipper and Gor Mahia midfielder, Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito has finally joined the Cranes camp after he was almost ruled out of the squad that will face Ghana on Saturday 15th November 2014. Speculations arose after the player failed to report in camp on time as expected without any official communication explaining his delay in arrival.
“Kizito has been in Vietnam where he had travelled for trials but we are glad he is here. The coaches will monitor his progress in training and make a final decision”, Fred Katende Malibu, the Cranes media consultant told Kawowo.
Meanwhile, Vipers’ midfielder Kizito Keziron has been dismissed from the Cranes camp. Sources close to the technical staff suggest that the player could have been exited from the squad for not having a passport. He now joins the likes of URA goalkeeper Brian ‘Ziggi’ Bwete, Baker Lukooya of Kiira Young, Derrick Nsibambi, the young striker from KCCA and Vipers’ Allan Kyambadde.
In other news, AS Vita striker Yunus Sentamu looks to be on his way back from his injury as the player returned to training.
