With about 4 months in charge since taking over from George ‘Best’ Nsimbe, Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club head coach Abdallah Mubiru could be sacked following an unpleasant performance from his side yesterday.
The passionate KCCA fans have already started questioning his methods and tactics following their 2-1 loss to Jinja based Sadolin Paints on Tuesday evening at their home ground, Phillip Omondi Stadium. The fans also tried to attack him after the game.
“We deserve a better coach than Abdullah Mubiru. His team selections and substitutes are shocking to say da least!!!! You need a goal to win a game, then you take off Martin Kizza a winger, and you throw on Owen Kasule a defensive midfielder!!!!! Yet u have Baker and Birungi on da bench!!!! Surely I don’t have to be a genius to know that KCCA is too big 4 U Abdullah with all due respect. Bambi step aside,” a one Amos Andrew JJemba wrote in KCCA fans Facebook public group called KCC FC (Ekiri E Lugogo).
Mubiru will have to go back to the drawing board and re-assess his tactics if he is to retain his job.
KCCA’s recent form:
Entebbe 0-1 KCCA
KCCA 2-0 Simba
Cosmos De Bafia 3-0 KCCA
Bright Stars 1-1 KCCA
KCCA 1-2 Sadolin Paints
