  1. Dr. Jose Chameleone
Leading Kasingye’s list is Dr. Jose Chameleone, often hailed as one of the greatest Ugandan musicians of all time. Kasingye praised Chameleone’s enduring presence in the music industry, noting his ability to adapt and thrive across different generations. Known for hits like “Valu Valu,” Chameleone remains a dominant force in Ugandan music, continually delivering fresh and engaging content.

In second place is Swangz Avenue’s Azawi. Kasingye highlighted the significant impact female musicians have on the Ugandan music scene, mentioning that Ugandans often prefer female artists over their male counterparts. Kasingye noted that her entrance into the music scene was met with enthusiasm, and she continues to be highly appreciated by fans.
  3. Bebe Cool
Bebe Cool, the Gagamel boss, takes the third spot on Kasingye’s list. Kasingye regards Bebe Cool as a model of star behavior and professional evolution. Despite his political inclinations, Bebe Cool’s ability to stay relevant and at the top of his musical game exemplifies the dynamic nature of Ugandan musicians.
  4. Ray G
Coming in fourth is Ray G, known for his hit song “Forever.” Kasingye acknowledged Ray G’s contribution to representing the musical talent of the Banyankore people. He commended Ray G for building a successful career free from controversy.
