Cancer has claimed lives of many people and film maker George Stanley Nsamba aka Battle Mc Nes-g is using the best way he knows how to create awareness about the same. His latest film project dubbed “The Wish” now in its final preparations will portray the struggles of cancer patients.

The project is dedicated to individuals who have succumbed to the cancer, more particularly to a one Robert Rowkym. “Robert Rowkym was a friend who passed on recently and I dedicate this movie to him,”  Nes said.

He continues to say, “I have written the script and it is one of the 7 cancer short film scripts I have written to create cancer awareness.”

The team behind the project includes: Josh the-fixer who is doing cinematography, Urban Aksent music (Lawraid vybes) doing music and sounds while Nes will do the directing, production and editing.

Synopsis:

The movie tells a story of an 8 year old girl suffering from cancer who has only 75 days to live but the parents are not aware of her condition. The young girl decides to put down her pains, joy, wishes and fears in the small doodle drawings she makes hoping some day after her death, the drawings will be all her parents would hold on to.

The 8year old Manuella plays the lead role while Akite Agines from Hostel 9Arach plays the mum and Kidron plays the dad and Becky Davidson plays the teacher.

Meanwhile, you too can join the social media campaign to create cancer awareness with the hashtag #StopCancer.
