Buddies studios have been on a roll this year and right from their hit factory has been 2013 revelation and upcoming diva Fille Clear. Yes, her name isn’t exactly a crowd puller but her talent is something you can’t easily ignore. She has slowly announced herself on the scene with some remarkable sounds. If awards were held today, she is odds on favourite to tussle it out with some more accomplished names.
A Ugandan of Rwandese origin, Fille has been mentioned in the same breath as fallen diva Sera of the contagious fame. It’s reasonable to draw comparisons considering Fille is young and is making her mark on the music scene steadily just like Sera. Like Sera, File shares the same passion for music and the style of music is conspicuously similar.
It’s not much of a surprise that the St.Lawrence university enroller started out in a group called G-Way affiliated with Miracle Centre. It’s that church background that has given her a much needed launch pad for her career. A quick listen to her vocals and you are hooked by her unique powerful voice that are reminiscent of artistes groomed in church.
Her gifted voice has been behind jams like it’s Not about Money, Where Have You Been At, J’etaime and these songs have steadily garnered ample airplay. She has quickly sought aid from dancehall artiste Vampino on the remix of Its Not about Money and this should catapult her to super stardom soon. Producer Andy Music of Buddies must be credited for guiding her infant career thus far.
After hearing that Fille was under MC Kats’ tutelage, I kind of feared for her career because I thought that the emcee had little to offer as far as artiste management is concerned. She holds him in high regard for spearheading her career, so, kudos should be accorded to the TV show host. The sky can only be the foundation for this talented lady.
