Gulu party animals had a night to remember as the Johnnie Walker Highball Tour came to their town on Saturday.
Hosted at O Café, revellers enjoyed rich entertainment from a host of deejays and musicians.
Selector Jay who is the main face of the tour got fans and revelers wild as he left his expertise that is spinning discs and took up bartending making the Highball for revelers who flooded the venue as early as 7pm to get a glimpse of the super star DJ.
With Deedan as the MC, the night could not get any better as her and Selector Jay played local Acholi music, paying homage to the region.
The night was further spiced up with a performance from Fik Fameica who entertained revelers with his hit songs like “Gwabisobola” his collaboration with Byaxy ,”Tubikole”, “Tonsukuma”, “Ndiwanjwulo” but it was his “property” song that got the crowd wild on to the dance floor.
The night ended with a performance from Gulu’s very own Mr. EeZzy whose local touch, Vigor and enthusiasm saw him end the show on a powerful note performing songs like “Mak Mukemi”, “Tyekene” closing the show on a high.
The tour is expected to make five stops in major towns around the country with Fort Portal coming next on November 9.
