The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has appointed seven Ugandan referees for upcoming international engagements in the 2018 FIFA World Cup preliminary round qualifiers and the women Olympic football qualifiers.
Rajab Bakasembe Kalyonkolo has been appointed as the center referee for a clash between South Sudan and Mauritania in the 2018 FIFA World Cup preliminary round qualifier that is slated for 7th October, 2015 at Juba Stadium.
Bakasembe will be assisted by Hussein Bugembe and Samuel Kayondo as the first and second assistants respectively while Brian Miiro Nsubuga will be the fourth official.
The Ugandan trio will be sided by Hamid Abdel Essam from Egypt as the referee assessor and Issa Mahamat Saleh from Chad as the match commissioner.
In other FIFA appointments, Aisha Nabikko Ssemambo will be the center referee when Zimbabwe entertain Cameroon in the women Olympic football qualifier that is scheduled for 18th October 2015 in Harare at Rufaro Stadium.
Catherine Cynthia Nagaddya and Nkumbi Nakitto will be the other two to accompany her in the capacity of first and second assistant referees respectively.
The fourth official will be Angelique Tuyishime from Rwanda, sided by Makowe from Botswana as the referee assessor.
Kenyan international Gladys Wangui Waweru will be the match commissioner.
