Production on Fast & Furious 7 has resumed in Abu Dhabi, following the death of star Paul Walker late last year.

The 40-year-old actor passed away in a car crash in November, halting production on the movie for several months.

Director James Wan posted the above Instagram picture yesterday (March 31), alongside the caption: “First day back filming. Better and stronger.”

According to the New York Daily News, an important final scene featuring Walker’s Brian O’Conner will use both computer generated images and a body double.

Screenwriter Chris Morgan has altered the script, while producers have said that Brian will be retired rather than killed off.

Fast & Furious 7 is scheduled for release on April 10, 2015.
