Entertainment critic Jenkins Mukasa recently shared his perspective on why David Lutalo’s latest concert suffered from a low turnout.
Mukasa attributed the disappointing attendance to poor scheduling and planning issues that left fans uncertain about the event.
According to Mukasa, Lutalo initially planned to hold the concert in January, but it was unexpectedly postponed to November, despite promotions being in full swing. This last-minute change, he explained, created a wave of anticipation among fans that was eventually disrupted.

“They had nearly completed the arrangements, with ads everywhere, and fans were eagerly waiting. But when the concert was delayed to November, fans lost confidence,” Mukasa shared.
He added that at one point, the concert was even set for August before another postponement, further causing frustration among Lutalo’s supporters.
By the time the concert finally happened, many fans remained doubtful and chose not to attend, fearing yet another postponement.
Despite Lutalo’s loyal fan base and the popularity of his music, Mukasa emphasized that the repeated changes led to an overall loss of interest, impacting the turnout.
