When he scooped the BET award for Best New International Act Viewer’s Choice, musician Eddy Kenzo was overwhelmed with happiness that he decided to shout out at all his favorite celebrities. Little did he know that fans would make fan of his command of the English language.
In an audio making rounds on Social Networking site, WhatsApp, that is now popular with the American population, Kenzo left no stone unturned in ‘killing’ the English language.
“What I like about Amelica you gogle aristes, you gogle artistes, like Jay Z, Phalel Fara, William, you go Jay Z…” he said.
Americans found this so funny so much so that they have been sharing the audio recording amongst themselves ever since the awards took place weeks ago.
When word reached Kenzo that he was being scorned for his poor command of the queen’s language, he decided to show off his award and remind everyone that he can make it even without speaking correct English.
