Eddy Kenzo didn’t hold back as he blasted Bobi Wine for misleading the public and spreading unnecessary propaganda over the supplementary budget from Government.
Bobi Wine has occasionally spoken against musicians getting incentives and handouts from government and yesterday while addressing the media over several issues, he alleged the Musicians received Ugx 30bn from the supplementary budget yet in actual sense it’s less than that.
While speaking to the media last night, Eddy Kenzo immediately fired back at these claims saying they’re going to receive Ugx 13bn from Government that was presented by Ministry of Finance and Planning to Parliament — these funds aren’t for personal interests but they will be used for enhancement and uplifting of the performing artists’ SACCO to enable them to provide financial services to stakeholders in the Entertainment Industry who will use it to invest in their crafts and in return pay taxes to Government.
Bobi needs to hire a research team that won’t feed him wrong information… His party has representation in parliament and I would expect him to have accurate information… It’s absurd that at his level he can still be misled

In the same interview, Eddy Kenzo responded to the claims that he was bounced by Bobi Wine’s security team while at King Saha’s Ebiseera Ebyo concert.
He’s a president of a party and I am his president in the music industry in which he operates, he’s the one meant to stand up and come greet me.
Eddy Kenzo who didn’t mince in his words, warned Bobi Wine against using propaganda and lying about artists to portray himself as the “god father” of the entertainment industry.
