The jetting in of the Jamaican musicians, Konshens and Alaine for their much anticipated concert at Lugogo Cricket oval has aroused several questions amongst some of our musicians who believe they can do better than them.
As people a wait the show, one of the members of Eagles production was shocked and left wondering who Konshens and Alaine were to put the whole of Kampala on a standoff. When somebody took time to explain to him who the two were, he instead fumed and complained of Ugandans who over praise international artists.
“Who is Konseniz, why is everybody talking about him, where is he from” asked Mayinja.
Mayinja seemed to have no idea of who was in town. However, when he’s was introduced to the world of Caribbeans, he stated it frankly that Eagles Production can put up a more spectacular show down at Kati Kati or Lugogo and people forget about Konshens.
Yes, it’s notable that Eagles production and Afrigo band together with other few cream musicians like Chameleon, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have always pulled the largest crowds during their concerts but what’s the viability of Eagles Productions pulling a crowd larger than Konshens and Alaine?
