The battle of champions that happened a few days ago at Kyadondo Rugby grounds between the Good Lyfe boys, Radio and Weasel and the CEO Gagamel crew Big Size Bebe Cool has left many people wondering why the Good Lyfe boys didn’t show up at Entebbe Resort beach for the second leg of the battle.
In their defence, the Good Lyfe boys claimed that the organisers of the concert had failed them. They did not fully comply with the terms and conditions they had agreed on. Among these terms were refusal of payments and performance in form of live music. However, BK Afrobeat claims they paid the Goodlyfe their entire fee way before the start of the Resort Beach show. He even revealed the fee was only 12 million.
“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”
When the Duo threatened to treat the case with higher density, its when BK’s colleague Abitex came to his rescue with different explanations saying that the first leg of the battle did not yield returns to their expectations considering how much they had spent, so they cut losses by removing one of the contenders.
Another source said Goodlyfe had planned a show for Lido beach on December 15th which meant they had to avoid being seen in Entebbe just a week before.
We have not yet heard from the horse’s mouth about the reaction to the threats, as our efforts to reach him have been futile.
