Local musician Chris Evans Kaweesi had a rough night last night. He was attacked by robbers that clobbered him and took off with his car which was later secured by Police after it was abandoned by the robbers.

The singer was taken to Mengo Hospital where he received treatment to his deep wounds that were inflicted on him on the head by the assailants.

Doctors later let him go but with strong words of advice not to do any shows in the coming days despite earlier arrangements to appear on several music shows.

According to the singers management, Evans has been asked to rest for four days as he heals so that he can be able to get back on stage and perform.

‘He was asked to rest for sometime so that the medicine given to him can help him heal before he goes back to work again,’ said a member of his management team.

We will keep you posted.
