Then you’d quickly smile at your self-remembering how this telecom engineer cum comedian, and now cum artiste can play around with one of those nursery school songs and make them sound cool on any beat the DJ plays. Yes, he’s that gifted!
Well, Salvado hit studio to record a song, not as a comedian, but as Salvado the artiste. Don’t hate on him yet. With these many artistes flocking the scene with all their gibberish ish, at least cut Shrek some slack! The song “Toluleta” is collaboration between DJ Global & Patrick “Salvado” Idringi. The idea was pricked from the balloon of fate that they have both been on the same pay roll on many different shows and concerts; Global as the DJ, Salvado as the host or comedian.
It is in this interaction that DJ Global noticed how musically inclined Salvado really is. He eventually invited him to the studio, and as they say, the rest is history. “Toluleta” is a fun, groovy and ethereal tune that celebrates Salvado’s success as a comedian.
It was written by the duo. The track was produced and arranged by DJ Global, under his producer/artist name, Beni Global at the Market Makers studio in Muyenga.
