Following her new found fame, Desire Luzinda has been on the lips of everyone with some following her on all her shows to watch her perform over and over again. It is on the back of this that Kisementi based radio station, Capital FM, saw an opportunity to work with the singer in order to get new people listening to their station.
Desire Luzinda, who has worked with WBS TV before had a meeting with management and later turned down the offer after being offered 2.5 million shillings to work with Val on the love show at night. We have learnt that she turned down the offer because the money was not enough.
“On a good night, Desire will have two shows in different locations each paying 3.5 million shillings. Tying her down for a paltry 2.5 million is unfair and she couldn’t forego quick business and wait for a monthly salary,” said one of the members on her management team.
We have learned that the ‘Ekitone’ singer who is still a hot cake after her nude photos leaked, turned down the offer politely and asked for more time to see what she can do with the station in the near future.
The singer who became very popular after her nudes leaked to the public has been making a lot of money from shows. “These days you don’t have a party unless Desire headlines it,” said a local event organizer. The singer’s value has tripled from the time her photos leaked to the public; “If you want her to sing at your event, you have to give her at least 3.5 million shillings.”
A recent research established that Desire Luzinda is making close to 100 million every month from her shows.
