Ugandan fashion designer and stylist to the stars including Sheeba, Spice Diana and Winnie Nwagi, Kaijuka Abbas is set to be honoured in Lagos, Nigeria this weekend.
The award winning designer will be celebrated at the Runway Trybe showcase in Lagos Nigeria. The show that will be taking place on 5TH September, 2021 at the Prestigious Oriental Hotel will be recognizing the Kai Divo’s Collection creative director for his creativity and outstanding leadership in the industry that he has demonstrated over the years.
During the event, the stylist-turned-designer will also be unveiling his latest collection at the event.
“Fashion is something I do because I am passionate and love putting people in beautiful clothes. However, any time I get recognized for my work and get to represent my country abroad is always humbling. I’m grateful for all my clients who have stuck with me and made this brand the sensation it has become,” Abbas said.
Established in 2016, Kai’s Divo collection, founded by Kaijuka Abbas, is a design house that made its fashion debut as a styling outlet for fashion conscious men and women in Kampala and across the region.
Kai’s Divo Collection entered a new chapter when it opened its first studio in 2017 and made its flagship couture collection showcase which morphed the brand into one of the most sought after fashion design brands in the Uganda Fashion Industry.
