Douglas Lwanga of NTV Uganda found himself on the receiving end of Deejay Beekay’s honest criticism. As you all know, Douglas tries to always keep out of offending people. If there are people with opinions, then Douglas has never let out his concerning any issue. He’s not found to be of the polarizing personality. Observers think, he could certainly refer to satan as God for fear of offending satan.
But it seems some people are just tired of this nice-guy syndrome that has really eaten up Douglas. One of those people is Deejay Beekay who couldn’t take it any longer and decided to hit at Douglas following his fear of not talking about all that went bad at the Club Mega Fest.
Deejay Beekay is quoted;
“Douglas Lwanga you disappoint me. Give credit where its due but don’t kiss ass on national television. Your audience are not fools to be told such bullocks. Club did something many did not expect. They organized a concert that was different that would leave everyone speechless. They were brave enough to risk going where many fear to (Namboole), take on the logistical madness that comes with such a venue, and organized something truly MEGA. For that we applaud them. HOWEVER this was not executed to expectation. Let’s not give our fans silly excuses. It passed. All you do is take the learnings, and make sure you don’t make the mistakes again. We await next year where we will push even harder than we did this year as media partners and people who want to see the industry continue to grow. #clubmegafest #lessonlearnt.”
It should be remembered that when Bebe Cool dared DJs to explain why they were playing Nigerian music instead of Ugandan music, it was Deejay Beekay who chose to hold the bull, that is Bebe Cool, by the horns. We await to see how Douglas will take this dose of red-pill criticism.
