Micheal Ezra Mulwooya, a former Uganda national sprinter and founder of Ezra Track Team Board(ETTB) – a Kampala based Sports Philanthropic and financing talent search, is back in Uganda on a sad note.
A few years back Micheal Ezra was believed to be one of the wealthiest Africans alive. He gained international media attention with his £60 million bid for English Premiership club Leeds United as well as negotiations with Airbus to buy an A380 but ostensibly it looks like the days of Michael Ezra’s big spending are over.
Reliable sources reveal that Ezra is back in Uganda and living a quiet unpretentious and humble life. These days he occupies himself most of the time at Nakasero posh hangout, Emin Pasha. It is said Ezra is such a broke a** that management has offered him two flasks of cappuccino (tea) everyday.
Ezra has even revealed to pals that life is short and he used the expression of YOLO ( you only live once). “That was my time but who knows I may be back one day,” said Ezra.

Mike Ezra was earlier this year acquitted of fraud charges in Nairobi Kenya. He is mainly remembered for one of his golden days when he had 3 million USD cash at hand and those days of huge spending.
