This move comes after Davido’s notable journey from being the flagship artist of HKN to founding Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
The news of this groundbreaking collaboration was unveiled on April 18, 2024, through United Masters’ official Instagram page.
The partnership is hailed as transformative for the African music scene, with United Masters expressing enthusiasm about working alongside one of the continent’s most influential figures to elevate the careers of emerging artists.
In response to the announcement, Davido expressed his excitement about embarking on this new chapter with United Masters, emphasizing the potential to support both emerging and established artists on a global scale.
This isn’t the first time United Masters has ventured into partnerships with Nigerian talents, having previously collaborated with the Sarz Academy in 2023. With Davido’s extensive experience and success in the industry, his involvement with Nine+ is poised to bring fresh opportunities for aspiring musicians.
Nine+ follows the recent rebranding of DMW 2.0, under which Davido signed Morravey and Logos Olori, both of whom contributed to his Grammy-nominated fourth album, ‘Timeless’.
Additionally, Davido recently achieved a milestone by headlining a sold-out concert at the renowned Madison Square Garden, solidifying his status as both a superstar performer and a visionary label boss.
