The much-anticipated Timeless Concert in Uganda, featuring Nigerian sensation Davido, finds itself in a state of uncertainty as the clock ticks down towards showtime.
Despite the fervent anticipation from fans eager to groove to the tunes of the “Available” hitmaker, Davido’s delayed arrival in the country has sparked panic and concern among concertgoers.
With just a few hours remaining until the scheduled performance on Friday, 29th March 2024, at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala, the absence of the multi-award-winning singer has left organizers and fans on edge.
While Davido’s band had arrived earlier in the week, paving the way for the main artist’s performance, his non-appearance has cast a shadow of doubt over the event.
This isn’t the first instance of Davido causing worry among his Ugandan fan base. Memories linger of his arrival in the nick of time during his performance at the Pearl of Africa Hotel on New Year’s Day in 2019.
