Statehouse has confirmed that President Museveni will attend the live Presidential debate that will take place at Serena Hotel Kampala tonight.
This was confirmed in a press relase posted on Social Media via the State House official Facebook page. It reads;
President Museveni will be at the second#UGDEBATE16 later this evening at Serena Hotel.
Retired journalist Joel Kibazo, Makerere University don Suzie Muwanga and Straight Talk Africa host Shaka Ssali will moderate the debate. The debate will majorly focus on peace and security, foreign relations, East African integration, the Great Lakes region and terrorism. The debate is expected to begin 20:00 HRS EAT (8PM).
