There will be no more nights of laughter at Laftaz Lounge.
We have learnt that the Centenary park based hangout will no longer hold their weekly comedy shows that hosted different comedians every Wednesday.
Proprietors of the nightspot, which had branded itself as home of local comedy, have reportedly abandoned the weekly comedy shows to focus on new priorities.

Ehmah Napoleone, one of the founders of Laftaz Comedy night that started in 2012, recently announced he was relinquishing his duties to pursue “personal glory”.
“I relinquish my role as Director of Comedy as I go and pursue some solo projects in my career. Over the years I have halted my personal ambitions for the greater good but now is the time to go seek some personal glory,” he announced.
However, our sources have revealed that the founders of the popular comedy show have allegedly fallen out over money-related issues.
