CEO Leone Island, Dr. Jose Chameleone snubbed his video premiere that was supposed to happen last night at Club Silk leading to violence and indefinite closure of Club Silk by its management.
Chameleone who took it upon himself to promote the premiere of his Wale Wale video is the one who finally sabotaged it. As early as Sunday, Chameleone posted on his timeline that; “Been a loyal MUSIC Soldier to East African with 14 years of reign!!! As we activate 2015, It’s time we start the preparations to the 15th year! My buddies and fans you are invited to the Official Premiering of My latest Music and the long anticipated “WALE WALE” Video @CLUB SILK tomorrow night. Come, let’s rave!!!! C U there.”
Chameleone shocked many when he arrived at the club premises and told his fans to go and tune to Channel O for the video premiere. Revelers thought Chameleone was pulling a stunt, but he was not joking as it later turned out. Situation became serious when time reached for the performance and Chameleone refused to come forth on stage.
The night’s deejay later dared to play Bebe Cool’s Love You Everyday song which has long been compared to Wale Wale fanning an already tense atmosphere. The DJ’s actions invoked violence especially from the Leone Island’s fans and entourage that broke into a bottle war that bouncers of the club failed to handle and the club was closed indefinitely.
