Days after their son, Johnnie Ahimbisibwe aka Johnnie Danzel Jarmaine, was brutally murdered at Club Guvnor, the family of the deceased fashionista has demanded for compensation.
The family has demanded that the club pays them 1 billion shillings after the death of their son. According to sources, the family believes that the club’s security team could have acted fast to make sure that their son was not killed but they didn’t hence the blame.
According to one family member called Daniel, the club management should have detected the matter and dealt with it before things got out of hand. “They should have spotted the issue and called the two for help or thrown them out of the club, why did they let it get this far? They are to blame and should pay for this,” he told journalists at Police yesterday.
“They argued for over 20 minutes and nothing was done to stop them. My brother was hit with a glass in the head and nothing was done. The best thing was to be more vigilant and stop this before it happened,” he added.
He also noted that the family are looking for the best way to hold the club management accountable in the courts of law for the security slackness.
Johnnie was laid to rest today at his ancestral home in Ibanda District in Western Uganda. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
