On the Friday of 20th as Kampala and the whole of Uganda was getting ready to be delighted by the cheapest festival of the year, some people had other plans.
There seemed a wave of insanity among a certain group of people in the auditorium where guys were shouting on top of their voices.
On Friday at the grand opening day of Bayimba festival, Yuttah Konvicts opened with its sensual Love Conquers all contemporary dance pieces.
A group of revelers in the auditorium opted to shout, scream & hum for most of their time. This was mostly affecting the poet whose verses were being dragged down by the screaming of the people. This was not all; some other people were on phone shouting out their plans for the whole auditorium.

We caught up with Desire Tereka, director and choreographer of Yuttah Konvicts all perplexed and he said, “Why would they shout? It made me think of it as a failed performance. As a dancer, I failed to get the message across.”
The Emcee was responsible to controlling the crowds because all the people were complaining as they left the auditorium on Friday evening. We caution and urge people to take note of the difference between the auditorium and a stadium.
