After organizing a good street fest in Masaka last weekend, singer Chameleone’s manager Robert Mutima Nkuke retired to his bed in his room at Vienna Hotel without clearing security bills for the show. Little did he know that he was tempting fate.
Robert had a rude awakening when at 6am, the team that was handling security stormed his hotel and rushed to his room banging the door so loudly that he couldn’t sleep anymore.
The mean faced security men carrying guns asked him to open as they made loud bangs on the door. He opened and the first thing that came out of one of the security men’s mouth was “our money boss.”
Robert then started making up excuses to avoid being shot dead saying that he would pay them any time since the amount was small. “You think I can run away because of this small amount?” he asked. “I have handled bigger money and I will clear you, I wanted to first talk to your top boss.”
The mean looking men couldn’t hear any of this. With their hands on their guns they forced Robert to pay 200,000shs on the spot. Chameleone’s manager was on gun point and he couldn’t help but pay up to save his dear life.
After getting their money, the security officers left Robert in peace.
