Musician Jose Chameleone has come out to explain why he made a grand entrance on a Segway board at the Masaza Cup finals that were held over the weekend at Namboole stadium. This follows reports that the singer risks being banned from attending future football matches at the stadium because he distracted the day’s proceedings as his excited fans caused a commotion.
“My business is show business; I was invited to do that,” he explained. “The officer who stopped me from saying hullo to my fans made it sour for himself. We belong to the public so they harassed him because he tried to drag me forcefully. We are not animals. He could have said it in a better way without force and that’s what he was trained to do.”
He went on to slam claims that he was looking for cheap popularity saying he is already famous.
“I am so famous to hustle for attention, so tell whoever got disturbed by my cheers from the crowd to stay home next time so he/she doesn’t get jealousy,” he added.
