Celebrity couple, Herbert and Dorothy Shonga support campaign to save kidney patient

Celebrity couple,  Herbert and Dorothy Shonga have shown their philanthropic side.

The Shongas have contributed towards a charity drive dubbed “Save Mukiibi Campaign” aimed at raising funds for a kidney patient seeking specialized treatment abroad.

The couple donated 500,000/= and basic needs that included soap and sugar among others to the patient on Saturday. The items were received by the the patient’s caretaker identified as Denis.

Mukiibi Ibrahim, 24, is reportedly battling an end stage kidney failure. Mukiibi has secured a donor and is now looking to raise Ugx 80 million for a transplant in India.
