Yeyyyy!!!! It’s February and we are in the month of love, ladies and gentlemen. For the umpteenth time, I am disgracefully single with no one to share my undying love. It’s a painful experience but I always manage to pull through. On a serious note though, I hope I can run into a lady worth the wait. She mustn’t be that beautiful (why am I lying…she has to be hot), a strong woman of character, kind, loving and an expert in nocturnal activities.
In Kampala alone, I have knowledge of people who might share my sentiments on loneliness and its these people that I will be wishing a happy month of love namely:
Juliana Kanyomozi
Uh, what can I say? No one mandates the phrase, “Beautiful But Unlucky” like the diva. With a string of failed relationships, the most recent one being that with the immature sangoma King Lawrence, I can only wish Juliana nothing but love this February. A woman who soothes our ears with love music should be on the receiving end of boundless love. The aging single mother is one I have always fancied for a longtime. So, Juliana we can work out something, right??
Zari Hussein
She has watched her hubby Ivan Ssemwanga juggle women more times than Lionel Messi juggles the ball in a football game. She officiates Ssemwanga’s games like a referee but noticeably lacks any influence to call the shots. We have seen the sexy socialite play second fiddle to former Big Brother contestant Sharon O with Ivan showering Sharon will lots of pomp at the expense of his baby mama. We more than revel in Zari’s pain and wish her the best of luck and we hope she finds love this month.
Desire Luzinda
The forever young musician is one who will need love this month. With an almost defunct music career and almost non-existent love life, the forever 25 year old will most definitely need a hug this month. After being heavily linked to many businessmen including Nasser Ssebagala, the bootylicious singer will need to find someone ‘fitting’ to make her February worthwhile.
Princess Ruth Komuntale
At the close of last year, we were treated to a mini soap opera when the princess revealed cracks in her marriage with the American Christopher Thomas. The rants, the insults on social networking site Facebook were fodder to the media and the whole saga generated a public outcry from Ugandans scorning the couple for their rather immature way of handling issues. Personally, I took the side of Komuntale for obvious reasons and it’s for these same reasons that I wish she finds love again and enjoys the month of love February.
