The Buganda Tourism committee has established tourism offices at every administrative sub-division ‘Saza’ in order to foster tourism growth in the Kingdom.
Buganda minister for Tourism, Rita Namyalo explains that this is part of the support from Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and the KCCA which has enabled them improve products outside Kampala and the Royal mile respectively.
Namyalo highlights Kabaka’s lake as the next project to be undertaken for development. She hopes the lake will attract water sport enthusiasts in the near future.
The minister made these remarks during Yesterday’s courtesy call on AUTO ahead of the Kingdom Tourism Expo 2014 slated from June 25th though July 1st at Lubiri Expo Ground-Mengo.
