Ugandan celebrities have continued to give their views on the current anti-homosexuality talk in the country. Ghetto Gladiator and Uganda’s most Googled personality of 2013 Bobi Wine has also given his side of the story. In a statement, the “Time Bomb” singer highlighted that God created “Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve” meaning that a man cannot under any circumstances marry a fellow man, atleast not in Uganda.
Contrary to what his Gagamel rival Bebe Cool believes, Bobi Wine went on to say that “Homosexuality is meant to destroy family and bring an end to the human race, abandoning the reproductive organ and choosing the elementary canal is utter human idiocy.” he explained.
Towards Christmas last year, Bebe Cool shared a completely different opinion about Gays in Uganda. In a statement, he said that he did not support anti-gay law even if he is not gay. He further stated that people should be left to enjoy life the way they were born.
Bobi Wine made it clear that he is proud of African values, he concluded his statement by asking all Ugandans to uphold these values.
Ex Big Brother Africa Housemate also reacted to Anti-Gay law recently when he bashed the western world for turning their backs on Uganda due to the enacted law. It is now criminal for a man to marry another man in Uganda with a sentence of Life imprisonment for homosexual tendencies. 28 countries have codified anti gay law with harsh penalties for homosexual people.
