These past few weeks have been very busy for the self-proclaimed ghetto president. He has been working on a number of projects, the most prominent one being his musical projects and of course not forgetting the much anticipated reality TV show. And by the look of things, he seems to be successfully accomplishing each one of them.
First, he promised to surprise his fans with an international collabo. On that he delivered, he actually seems to have overdone himself. He went to Jamaica, and came back with a now booming hit titled “Clean and Out” on which featured Mr. G, one of Jamaica’s leading dancehall artistes. Actually, he did not do one but two collabos with Mr. G, the other being “Girls”. Bobi looks very optimistic and is very positive this is just only the beginning, more stuff coming from what he loves to call “Africa – Jamaica connect”.
Just after premiering the ‘big hit’, he quickly set out on a music tour. The tour started off in the US where he apparently performed alongside the greats of reggae. His first performance was held in Boston, thereafter which he proceeded to New York. While in New York, he happened to perform at the International Reggae Splash alongside the likes of Mavado, Junior Reid, Elephant Man, Lady G, to mention but afew.
After having an epic experience in the US, he headed to South Africa where he was to hold a couple of concerts.
Just moments after the said concerts, he posted on his timeline thanking his fans in the diaspora in gratification of the much love shown.
If his posts are anything to go by, the tour seems to have been a great success so far. Bobi Wine has been updating his facebook timeline in succession, seemingly excited, boasting about having a great time and also thanking the fans for turning up in large numbers.
In one of his most recent updates, Bobi Wine posted on his facebook timeline saying, “It was a crazy nite in Durban, a record setting audience, am glad to have drawn such a massive crowd, big up to all my FIRE BASE team for putting up a mega performance, big up all the fans and promoters…”
