Fresh from a fight with Uganda Revenue Authority and the Red Cross society where he was asked to explain how he bought a Toyota Tudra monster ride, Ghetto gladiator Bobi Wine is in more trouble and he feels cheated by Kampala Capital City Authority.
Bobi Wine imported brand new events machines into the country only to be told that KCCA doesn’t want any such machines anywhere near the city centre.
Bobi now feels cheated as he found himself in a bad deal. He had plans of joining the local events management industry only to be surprised by KCCA. The KCCA regulations makes it so difficult to earn a penny off events especially for event organisers since no noise pollution can be tolerated anywhere near the city centre.
More to this is the fact that Bobi is now struggling to clear taxes with the revenue authority for the machines. “He feels cheated and wishes he never got into this bad deal in the first place,” says a close friend.
