Former singing trio Blu*3, comprising Cindy Sanyu, Lilian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru, have announced the rescheduling of their much-anticipated concert that was slated for March.
Originally set for the 8th of March 2024, the concert has been postponed to accommodate Ronald Mayinja’s event, slated for the same date at Serena Hotel – Kampala.
Blu*3, once a powerhouse in the Ugandan music industry, captured the hearts of many with their dynamic performances and melodies.
Cindy Sanyu, the first to depart from the trio, ventured into a successful solo career, while Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru pursued their own musical paths. However, Jackie’s journey was marred by struggles with drug addiction but she managed to overcome that.
Despite their individual pursuits, fans have long yearned for a Blu*3 reunion. Responding to the calls of their devoted fanbase, Cindy, Lilian, and Jackie recently reunited at an exclusive event at Skyz Naguru, reigniting hopes for a memorable comeback.
The initial announcement of their concert date sparked excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to relive the memories of Blu*3’s iconic performances. However, fate had other plans, as their scheduled date coincided with Ronald Mayinja’s concert announcement.
In a display of solidarity and respect within the music community, Cindy Sanyu conveyed Blu*3’s decision to reschedule their concert, allowing Ronald Mayinja to proceed with his event unhindered.
We had announced that the Blu*3 concert will happen on 8th March 2024 but that date is scheduled for another concert. We have canceled but we will give you new dates for the concert.
