Big Eye StarBoss has challenged his former friend and the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, Eddy Kenzo to a music battle.
In a video he shared, Big Eye expressed frustration, accusing Kenzo of not deserving the recognition he gets and insisting that he can defeat him in a music battle.
Once close friends, the two artists shared a deep bond, standing by each other through both good and challenging times. However, their relationship deteriorated quickly, leading to the current animosity.
Big Eye hinted that his support for Kenzo wasn’t reciprocated, prompting him to reevaluate the friendship.
Now, their rivalry has intensified, with political affiliations deepening the divide. Eddy Kenzo, a presidential advisor, is known to support the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

In contrast, Big Eye aligns with the National Unity Platform (NUP), a political party led by Bobi Wine, a vocal critic of the current regime.
Big Eye’s association with the opposition has only fueled his confidence, making him believe he can defeat Kenzo in a musical showdown.
“I want a music battle with Semutoro (Eddy Kenzo), and I know I can defeat him without a doubt,” Big Eye said. He challenged Kenzo to hold a concert on the same date as his upcoming show in December, to prove who truly reigns supreme in Ugandan music. “I am happy with my talent and my fans,” Big Eye added, confident that his support base, largely influenced by his political stance, will carry him to victory.
