Big Eye StarBoss has officially announced his intention to run for the position of Member of Parliament (MP) for Nansana Municipality in the 2026 general elections.
The announcement, made via his social media platforms, comes just a day after he hinted at venturing into active politics, sparking widespread speculation among his followers and political enthusiasts.
Big Eye, whose real name is Mayanja Ibrahim, expressed his commitment to serving the people of Nansana Municipality, emphasizing the importance of listening to the voices of the citizens.
In his statement, he quoted, “The voice of the people is the voice of God,” aligning his campaign with the principles of grassroots democracy and people-centered leadership.
He also paid homage to his political mentor, President H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi, stating, “When my president speaks, it is a command.” This declaration underscores his allegiance to the People Power movement, a political faction led by Kyagulanyi.
