And not only is it an important political statement, it contains the best lyric about rewarding sexual gratification of 2016: “When he f**ks me good I take his ass to Red Lobster.”
One man was singing that particular lyric at the top of his lungs in a shopping mall in America when he was handcuffed and marched away by the police.
Should’ve had a spot on Lemonade, really.
It’s not the first time ‘Formation’ has rubbed the police up the wrong way.
During Beyoncé’s homecoming show in Houston, Texas was met with a silent protest by a local police department due to their belief that some of the singer’s recent output has been ‘anti-police’.
