Bebe Cool’s daughter, Sophie Beata has started a defiance campaign at her school.
Beata has chosen to stand up for the allegedly marginalized Muslim community at her school. She is leading a protest to force the school management to permit typical Muslim wear for fellow Muslim students at her school.
She kicked off her campaign on Friday last week when she donned a hijab to school and formally petitioned the school authorities on the matter.
Beata’s parents have shown support to her actions, with her mother wishing her good luck on her cause.
Zuena posted: “My princess Sophie Beata has started a campaign at her school. She wants hijab to be part of the school uniform for the Muslim girl child but insists it should be optional for those willing. She reported to school in Hijab and has written a formal campaign letter to the administration & today she officially starts her campaign. Good luck princess!”
