Ugandan music icon Bebe Cool recently vented his frustration on his social media handle, condemning Airtel Uganda for what he deemed abnormal data depletion.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Bebe Cool expressed his dismay at the rapid depletion of his data without apparent cause.
Making his discontent crystal clear, Bebe Cool announced that if the issue wasn’t resolved by 10 am that morning, he would be compelled to take legal action against the telecommunications giant.
Bebe Cool shared a specific incident, revealing that he had purchased 22 gigabytes of data at 21:56, only to receive an alert shortly after indicating that 17 gigabytes had mysteriously vanished, leaving him with just 5 gigabytes.
The artist pointed out that this significant data loss occurred with just a single click while using the popular app TikTok.
I urge you to return my un-used data before 10:00am in the morning or else am instituting a legal action against you at your own cost & embarrassment.

Expressing financial concerns, Bebe Cool emphasized that while he might be able to afford another data bundle, he is unwilling to tolerate what he perceives as deceitful practices.
This public exposure of his data issues resonates with the sentiments of millions of Ugandans who have long accused telecom companies of quick data depletions.
