Veteran Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has hit back at fellow artists who frequently criticize him, saying he no longer has time for people with “shallow minds.”

The Gagamel boss made the statement while addressing growing backlash from some musicians who often oppose his public views on the music industry and national matters.
Known for his outspoken nature, Bebe Cool said he is focused on building the industry and not wasting time on petty arguments.

“I don’t have time for artists who have shallow minds,” Bebe Cool said. “We need to focus on progress, not unnecessary attacks and drama.”
Over the years, Bebe Cool has been a strong voice in Uganda’s music scene, often taking bold stances on various issues.
However, his opinions have occasionally drawn criticism from younger artists and industry players who accuse him of being arrogant or outdated.
Despite this, Bebe Cool remains confident in his experience and continues to urge fellow musicians to act with maturity and purpose.
“It’s time for serious work. If you want to grow, stop attacking others and invest in your craft,” he added.
Bebe Cool is currently working on new projects and has promised more music and mentorship programs to support upcoming talent in Uganda.
