Known for his controversy, musician Bebe Cool surprised many when he gave his view about the new Miss Uganda, Kalanguka Leah. His opinion came after Social Media rants and rave against the new beauty queen.
The Gagamel boss was soft on Leah unlike his Social Media army that threw gibes at her left, right and centre last weekend.
According to Bebe Cool, Ugandans should not be complaining, they should instead embrace their new Miss Uganda and move on.
He said; “My take on Miss Uganda is that I have no problem with her since I did not take part in the process of choosing her at any one time. I don’t understand why Ugandans are complaining yet they did not put in time to attend the events that led to that choice so let’s respect the choice that was made by the few who had time and interest to be there.”
Leah who beat all odds of stiff competition from 19 other girls and emerged winner, said that she is admired by many and that she will not let Social Media pull her down.
“Many people out there want to be in my position, if I carry myself in the wrong way, I will give a bad example to the youth out there. I want to be an example to the youth. I will not let Social Media comments put me down,” Leah said.
