Musician Bebe Cool seems to be the only musician nonchalant after his fellow Ugandan musician, Bobi Wine lost his father this week.
Bobi Wine’s father was buried yesterday by a magnitude of people as Social Media went awash with condolence messages to the Byekwaso singer who described this experience as the most sorrowful in his entire life. Bebe Cool on the other hand didn’t seem to care about Mzee Kyagulanyi’s death.
The two singers who have always been enemies were reunited by Afrigo band singer Joanita Kawalya last Saturday, but still have beef for each other. One would expect that after the reunion that was followed by the unfortunate demise of Bobi’s father, the Gagamel boss would have shown support for Bobi during this trying time, but no, he didn’t.
Although the two artistes stood close to each other on Saturday amidst cheers from revelers at the awards, Bebe still refused to show Bobi his support.
Bobi’s father Willington Jackson Sentamu died this week. Here is what the singer recently said about his father:“My father J.W Ssentamu aka Bulaya is Superman; 40 children,36 graduates, stars, celebrities, doctors, lawyers, pastors, leaders, businessmen and women etc. The late’s first born is over 50 years and youngest is said to be two years old. The most accomplished father I know. Father, if I could only be quarter the man that you are, I would be the greatest man in this generation. I might not be able to show you just how much, but I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.”
We will keep you posted.
