The prominent Barclays Premier League Trophy is in the country for public viewing for at least two days.
After a period of six years, the trophy returns to the country in a bid to boost the Barclays bank promo that intends to take Premier League fans and bank customers for a fully paid trip to watch any of their favourite teams live in the UK next year in March.
The glittering trophy was unveiled to the media yesterday during a press conference at Serena Hotel in Kampala and will be displayed at the different Barclays Bank branches around the city starting with the head office at Nakumatt, Kampala Road, Luwum Street and the Lugogo branches.
Starting today, customers will be allowed to view and also to take selfies with the trophy.
“Bringing the trophy to Uganda and giving our customers an opportunity to attend live Premier League matches of a tournament many people around the world are passionate about, is one of the ways of thanking our customers and showing that we care about what matters to them,” Barclays Bank Managing Director Rakesh Jha remarked.
