In an attempt to reach a bigger audience, the self styled artist and producer Barbi Jay has unveiled his latest song and visuals – Queen and More.
Queen and More is a love Afro-pop mixed with a blend of Amapiano. The song is meant to empower relationships and reignite love.
Barbi Jay alias Buyinza Julius was born in 1989 at Lubiri – Mengo in Kampala, Uganda by Namala Ruth and Joel Birinyagwa.
As an artist, Barbi Jay started in 2012 with a collaboration track with Aziz Azion dubbed Chocolate Girl which was his break through as well and following were songs like Tobawulila, Nyange, among others.
As a producer, Barbi Jay owns a big recording studio – Reverb Studio and has produced for many artists and made big hits such as; Aziz Azion’s Oxygen was produced and written by Barbi Jay, produced Beera Nange – Aziz Azion, Baliwa – Aziz Azion, Tonkoya – Eddy Kenzo and Akatonotono – Rema Namakula.
Barbi Jay got his next mega hit in Sumbuusa featuring Eddy Kenzo which was followed with more exciting collabos and solos that made him a darling to the local music fans.
With Queen and More, Barbi Jay intends to break through to the international scene and become the Ugandan Davido.
The accompanying music video, was skillfully shot and produced by Reverb Films. Audio was produced and mastered by Laala and Barbi Jay himself.
