Singer Azawi has revealed that when she eventually becomes a mother, she plans to take a step back from music—just like fellow artist Sheebah Karungi did.
In a recent interview, the “Party Mood” hitmaker shared her admiration for how Sheebah handled motherhood, particularly her decision to take a break from the spotlight to focus on her baby.
“I will give music a small break and be with my baby like how Sheebah did it. She gave herself time,” Azawi said.
She emphasized that if and when she gives birth, she would not rush back into the industry.
Instead, she plans to allow herself space to grow into motherhood, and when she eventually returns to music, her approach will be softer and more intentional rather than aggressively chasing hits.
